COLON HEALTH & CONSTIPATION:

Are you having 1-3 easy, well-formed, soft bowel movements a day? Sluggish bowels is one of the worst things for your health. It can cause you to have low energy, not sleep well, make you tired, give you bad skin, cause depression, stress your lymph system, make your blood toxic, stress your liver; literally make your whole body ill.

What can you do about it?

Take plant digestive enzymes at the start of every meal. Usually Thera-zyme PAN (Pancreas) or Thera-zyme HCL (Multiple Enzyme w/Betaine) is what you need, though you may need Thera-zyme Bil (Biliary) . If unsure, do the 24 Hr Urinalysis Test. Take probiotics. And add healthy fermented foods in your diet like miso, kefir, natto, kombucha tea, etc. Take Quantum Probiotic Complex . And the Quantum Colostrum Powder also works very well with it to produce very healthy intestinal flora. Healthy bacteria are essential to a healthy colon and easy elimination.

Use Aerobic Life Mag 07 . It not only will effectively and gently help you eliminate, it destroys bad bacteria and yeast and helps the good flora to grow. Take as needed. I suggest beginning with the Aerobic Life 10 Day Colon Cleanse (it comes with a bottle of Mag 07 that will last you for many weeks).

After the 10 Day Cleanse (or as an alternative) use the Quantum Cleanse Blend . Five caps first thing in the morning are very helpful (an additional 5 caps can be taken as explained on bottle). I find that taking Mag 07 before bed and QCB in the morning works great.

Some people like the Thera-zyme Challenge Food Powder better, as an alternative to the Quantum Cleanse Blend. And the Challenge Capsules are even more convenient to take than the powder and have additional herbs for constipation.

Drink plenty of water throughout the day and when taking these supplements. Drink about half your body weight in ounces each day. Drinking more than 6 ounces of water at once is not helpful. The body can not absorb it. It is best to drink small amounts over time. And add liquid ionic mineral-electrolytes to your drinking water. See Bio Nativus Liquid Ionic Mineral Concentrate . Magnesium helps hold water in your colon.

Magnesium is very important and helpful. Most people do not get enough magnesium. (The magnesium in Mag 07 is not absorbed into the body.) Add magnesium to your body by using one of the following products. These products are very helpful.

Weak adrenal glands and low thyroid are also often part of the constipation situation. Supporting these glands is often needed to heal chronic constipation.

Exercise. Rather than long duration aerobic exercise, do short duration, intense exercise. This type of exercise is very helpful. It will help reset your metabolism, hormones, normalize weight, clear constipation, and increase your overall energy and well-being. Run a series (4 to 8) of short, all-out sprints (30 to 90 seconds long), rather than long distance running or jogging. You will know right away how superior this form of exercise is. The same idea can be used when riding a bike, swimming, working out with weights, etc.

Deep Breathing. Practice deep, long breathing. Do this along with relaxing all your body and practicing meditation can make a very powerful change. I teach this over the phone to my clients whom have EFT and healing sessions with me. I also facilitate the release of long held emotional issues that are often major contributors of constipation and all bowel issues. Though this article is concentrating on constipation, irritable bowel type issues have similar causes and remedies. For the most part, intestinal issues are issues of stress and unresolved emotional issues having to do with deep hurt, anger, fear, security and safety.
