OPENING LETTER
Hello,
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. There is already a hint of fall in the air. The nights
are getting cool and some of the leaves are turning color
already. This year is moving fast. I don't know if it is because
I am getting older or if the clock is actually running faster.
I am spending sometime reading for a change. I used to be
an avid reader, but in the past ten years or more I have not
been reading books the way I always have. I am reading a book you might find interest in. It is Harry Oldfield's
Invisible Universe. It is about this scientist/healer's technological
inventions using color, crystals, and light for healing and for
scanning energy fields. He has scientifically proven what mystics
and spiritual healers have been saying for centuries. I would like
to hear from anyone who has had firsthand experience with
his work.

to hear and remind ourselves....
I've learned that no matter what happens, or how
bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will
be better tomorrow.
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a
person by the way he/she handles these three
things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled
Christmas tree lights.
I've learned that regardless of your relationship
with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life.
I've learned that making a "living" is not the
same thing as making a "life." I've learned that life
sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life
with a catcher's mitt on both hands. You need to
be able to throw something back.
I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it
will elude you. But if you focus on your family, your
friends, the needs of others, your work and doing
the very best you can, happiness will find you.
I've learned that whenever I decide something
with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.
I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't
have to be one.
I've learned that every day you should reach out
holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly
pat on the back.
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that you should pass this on to
someone you care about. I just did. Sometimes
they just need a little something to make them
smile.
Note: People will forget what you said, people
will forget what you did, but people will never
forget how you made them feel....

SENT IN BY A READER, A Prayer:
Especially during the tough times, I have trouble discerning God's will
vs. my will vs. the evil one pushing my buttons. I found this beautiful
novena where each daily prayer ended with the following. I wanted to
pass it on...
...May we be patient in finding out God's holy will and courageous in
carrying it out.
...Grant that we may be enlightened as to what is best for us, in the
present and future, not forgetting the blessings we have received in the
past.
...Grant that we may ever pray with fervor and devotion resigning
ourselves humbly to the Divine Will seeing God's purpose in all our
trials and knowing that He will leave no sincere prayer unanswered in
some way.
...May it please God to answer our prayers in the way He knows best
giving us grace to see His purpose in everything.
...Humbly we resign ourselves to God's holy will knowing that He alone
knows what is best for us especially in our present needs and troubles.
...We are resigned to God's holy will in all things, knowing that He
will leave no sincere prayer unanswered in some way, though it may be a
way unexpected by us.
...We humbly submit ourselves to the will of God, knowing full well that
no sincere prayer is ever left unanswered. May we see God's good and
gracious purpose working in all our trials.
...Whatsoever we ask for the present or future, we submit to the Divine
Will realizing that God knows best what is good for us. We know He will
respond to our prayers and petitions in some way or other.
...May we not so much seek earthly good but rather what will help our
souls knowing that it profits us nothing if we gain the whole world yet
suffer the loss of our soul. Therefore, may we incline ourselves towards
the Divine Will, seeing God's good and gracious purpose in all our
trials.

SOME MORE HEALTH TIPS:
***Pregnenolone is a superior, safe alternative to DHEA and
other hormone therapies.
***Antibiotic use should always be followed by Probiotic use.
Otherwise known as replacing your good flora. Be sure to use
a high quality product like Thera-zyme Smi.
***Don't burn yourself in the sun. This can lead to skin cancer
which is skyrocketing. You don't need to avoid the sun though,
many people don't get enough time outside and are inside under
artificial lighting too often. This too can lead to cancer and other
illnesses. A good diet helps protect against disease. There is
probably too much talk about avoiding the sun, there should be
more talk about achieving good health -- that is the best prevention.
One of the most important factors is the type of oils and fats you eat.
There is good evidence that polyunsaturate oils (like soy, canola,
margarine, safflower) promote skin disease, and fats that help protect
you are real olive oil, butter, and coconut oil.
***Remember not to overcook, and certainly do not burn or blacken
your meat. This is very unhealthy for you. Do not fry oils, eggs or meat.
Most of the problems attributed to animal food are due to commercially
raising them and to bad cooking practices. Good clean organic animal
foods cooked properly are very nutritious and health promoting foods.
Not only do not fry eggs, but it is not good to hard boil them either.
Cooked properly, organic eggs are one of the most nutritious foods
you can eat. Raised and cooked properly, eggs and meat do not
cause high cholesterol and other disease, but instead promote
good health.
