********************************* Dear Subscribers, I hope you are all enjoying your holiday. This season reminds us, as Robert Browning's poem quoted above so beautifully states, that the light, truly God, is WITHIN all of us. All our potential, our splendor, our love, and all we hope to achieve in this world, awaits us right inside. We have far more to give, we are far more creative, we are far more capable, than we have dared to dream. It is not a matter of gaining knowledge. Nor finding a pathway inside. Nor going outside. But rather finding a way to let out what is already there, inside each and every one of us. Let this beautiful time of year remind you that the light is within. Believe in it. The kingdom of God is here, now. Not in some distant time and place. Rather inside everyone. Let it radiate. Do you want health and healing? If you believe strongly enough, and allow yourself to become a channel for it, you would enjoy whatever it is you want. There is no magic to healing. There are no special powers. No special techniques are needed. You don't need to go to anyone. Just sit still. Ask, and you shall receive. I do my best not to ask for specifics. When I pray for myself or my clients, I simply ask for the Divine Healing Light of God to radiate throughout their bodies and lives. For the person to awaken to the truth and clarity and health that is already inside of them. Everyone can do the same. Why not begin a daily practice today? Wishing all of you special blessings this Christmas and a wonderful transformative New Year,
Timothy Long PS. For some people, for varying reasons, holidays can be very lonely, painful and depressing times. Pick up the phone and call someone who might feel this way. Reach out. Go visit someone who is elderly, alone, etc. Think of your neighbors, relatives, estranged family members. And if you feel this way, and you have no one calling or visiting you, feel free to call me anytime. I have known what it is like in life to be totally at the end of your rope with no one around, no one we really trust to call. So this is my service to anyone who ever feels this way, during the holidays, or anytime of year.

The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think: "When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toe nails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love." Rebecca - age 8 "When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth." Billy - age 4 "Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other." Terri - age 4 "Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK." Danny - age 7 "Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss," Emily - age 8 "Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen," Bobby - age 5 "If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate," Nikka - age 6 "There are two kinds of love. Our love. God's love. But God makes both kinds of them." Jenny - age 4 "Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday." Noelle - age 7 "Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well." Tommy - age 6 "During my piano recital, I was on a stage and scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore," Cindy - age 8 "My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night." Clare - Age 5 "Love is when mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken." Elaine - age 5 "Love is when mommy sees daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford." Chris - age 8 "Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day." Mary Ann - age 4 "I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones." Lauren - age 4 "I let my big sister pick on me because my Mom says she only picks on me because she loves me. So I pick on my baby sister because I love her." Bethany - age 4 "When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." Karen - age 7 "Love is when mommy sees daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross." Mark - age 6 "You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget..." Thank you Martine for sending this in.
***************************************** RIDING TANDEM At first I saw God as my observer, my judge, keeping track of the things I did wrong, so as to know whether I merited heaven or hell when I die. He was out there sort of like the president. I recognized His picture when I saw it, but I didn't really know Him. But, later when I recognized my higher power, it seemed as though life was rather like a bike ride, but it was a tandem bike, and I noticed that God was in the back helping me pedal. I don't know just when it was that He suggested we change places, but life has never been the same since, life with my Higher Power, that is. God makes life exciting!!! When I had control, I knew the way. It was rather boring and predictable. It was the shortest distance between two points. But, when He took the lead, He knew a delightful long-cut, up mountains, and through rocky places, and at breakneck speeds. It was all I could do to hang on!!! Even when it looked like madness, He said, "PEDAL !" I worried and was anxious and I asked, Where are you taking me?" He just laughed, but didn't answer, and I started to learn and trust. I forgot my boring life and entered into a new adventure. And when I'd say, "I'm scared," He'd lean back and touch my hand. He took me to people with gifts that I needed, gifts of healing, acceptance, and joy. They gave freely of their gifts to me to take on my journey, our journey, God's and mine. And we were off again. He said, "Give these gifts away, they're extra baggage, too much weight." So I did, to people we met along the way, and I found the more I gave away, the more I received, and still our burden was light. I didn't trust Him at first, in control of my life. I thought He'd wreck it. But God knows bike secrets. He knows how to make it bend to take sharp corners, jump to clear high rocks and fly through scary passages. And I'm learning to shut up and pedal in the strangest places. Plus, I'm beginning to enjoy the view and the cool breeze on my face, with my delightful and constant companion, my Higher Power. And when I'm sure I can't do any more, He just smiles and says, "PEDAL !"

************************************* MORE HEALTH TIPS: ***Be aware of color in your life. The clothes you wear, the sheets you sleep in, the colors your home and office is painted. Color is vibration. We are vibration. Colors affect us. People that wear black all the time are depressing their energy and immune systems. Use calming, peaceful colors in your bedroom. And pray that our world leaders make the best decisions possible to create a world of peace and security for all the people of the world. +++Pray that each and everyone of us realizes that God is in each of us, and that each one of us can make a real difference in the world by praying and envisioning a world of peace and love for all. +++Let us all pray for the men and women of the armed services, police, and fire departments, who are putting their lives on the line for us. +++Please keep praying for lasting peace in the world, especially in the Middle East. There is only One God, One Religion - Love. +++Pray for an end to the drug trade in the world, and that all people in positions of power, especially within governments, realize the horror of their involvement and put an end to it.
