********************************* OPENING LETTER Dear Friends and Subscribers, I always find this to be a special time of year. Despite the extra stress around the holidays that shopping, traveling, and families can sometimes bring, there is definitely a special 'feeling in the air'. During this time I have stopped to reflect on why I write this newsletter and provide the health services that I do. I realize it is because I have a strong desire to help people enjoy good health and happiness, and that it is so important towards having a healthy and happy life and family. Being ill is no fun, to say the least. I was clearly reminded this recently when I had a terrible case of the flu-- for the first time in 15 years. I had a 104 temperature, and I had the flu for over week. But this is nothing compared to having a really terrible illness like MS, cancer, heart disease, or even obesity, depression, diabetes, etc. I have worked with many people with such illnesses. In fact, my career as a health practitioner began when I was 24 and I nursed my own mother dying of cancer in the last months of her young life. It made a tremendous impression on me. I researched and read extensively in order to save her life. I was left with the unshakable belief and knowledge that cancer (and all disease) can be prevented and healed. She chose not to heal herself. She wanted to go on. After a heart to heart conversation this decision of hers was honored. Though from that time forth, I became determined to help anyone else who did want to prevent or heal any health problem they wished. There is no doubt in my mind and experience that we are capable of both preventing and healing all dis-ease, be it physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. Although I wholeheartedly believe that a good diet and taking health supplements are necessary to prevent disease and to enjoy good health, there are other equally important factors. I will continue to use this newsletter to introduce and teach not only physical health methods, but emotional, mental and spiritual, as well. Towards this end, I would like to encourage all of you to read "The Journey" by Brandon Bays (see Inspirational Quote above). She tells her personal story of healing a large tumour in her abdomen. It disappeared in just about a month. She used the power of her mind to focus in on herself and to release deeply held emotional blocks and memories. She also took advantage of many methods of alternative and holistic healing. Most importantly she learned to connect herself to Infinite Intelligence, or God. By opening herself, as we are all capable and called to do, she was able to receive her own guidance and learned to live life in harmony, peace, and pure love. Ultimately, this is the place where all true healing takes place. I have based my life and work in the field of holistic healing for over twenty years. I have a lot of experience in emotional, energy, and spiritual healing. Brandon Bays has written a wonderful and very practical book. You can use this book to help heal any health or life problem you have. You can also find seminars and individual practitioners who will work with you. One place to begin is www.thejourney.com I'll keep repeating this, because it is so important: Diet and nutrition are fundamental to obtaining and enjoying optimal health. And equally, if not more important are your emotional, mental and spiritual health. If you are trying to heal a health or physical problem, or simply to prevent disease and increase your energy and immune system, begin to investigate and to practice healing yourself using the power of your mind and inner/spiritual intelligence. I would recommend the very same for anyone experiencing financial problems, marital or relationship problems, depression, anxiety, fears, lack of achieving life goals, etc. As I announced last month, there are about ten new products in my latest catalog.
