The next time someone asks you if an alternative method of healing is 'proven', quote Dr. Dossey!

I just love it when people say natural supplements or energy-healing needs to be 'proven' with 'double-blind scientific' studies. It is about time we stopped supporting a double standard. Let's get it straight: the majority of modern medical conventional therapies and pharmaceutical medicines are unproven, many are harmful, some deadly, and much of it is plain insanity. At least when something natural does not work it does not destroy your life and health. For over twenty years I have proven time and time again that natural remedies work very well (and often where medical therapies failed): natural supplements, herbs, enzymes, good diet, energy healing, prayer and spiritual healing, EFT (emotional and stress release), etc.

MY MOTIVATION:

I received this statement in an email this past week. Let me take this opportunity to state why I do the work I do (and what my motivation really is):

Health and Healing have been my main interest and passion from a young age. Then my mother got ill with cancer when I was 24 years old. I was her nurse for the last months of her life. I witnessed firsthand how a terrible disease like cancer can ravish a person's body and life, and how it equally can ravish their loved one's lives. And I was angered at how little medical doctors had to offer. Worse I saw firsthand their arrogance and ignorance towards natural, alternative ideas - that I already was certain merited everyone's respect and attention. This experience along with all my research to help my mother, cemented my life-long commitment to educate and assist anyone willing to listen and accept my assistance. I remember clearly pledging to myself that I would serve this mission.

It was not long after my mother died that I began my practice of doing whatever I could to help others transform and heal their lives. My health and healing practice is my calling, it was not a business decision. That is why my clients and customers come first. When I state something or sell something, it is because I truly believe it can make someone's life healthier and happier. My original calling was a passionate decision from my heart, and that has never changed as being the driving force behind my work and teachings.

That is also why I am willing to risk losing customers and business by consistently taking stances over the years that have gone against the grain of both academic medical teachings as well as the common voice of natural health marketing. And this is also why I continually teach that caring for the mind and spirit is of greater importance than the over-emphasis many people focus on the physical: diet, supplements, numerous physical healing therapies, etc. If I had a boss, you can sure bet he (or she) would not let me write such things, as they could be bad for supplement sales.

For certain the types of supplements I recommend are needed and are of great help to many people. Though, many of you would experience far greater health, energy and happiness by putting more focus and energy on healing your mind and spirit. The bottom line of my teaching is: True health can be experienced through a harmonious integrated mind, body and spirit; one can not be whole and experience full health and expression without the other.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique):

After sharing that, I want to share what I strongly believe will help most people get well, no matter what you are suffering from: Even though my mother smoked cigarettes and got lung cancer, I do not believe cigarettes were the main cause of her early and terribly painful death; they were simply a contributing factor. That is my view on just about all physical causes, such as foods and toxins that are blamed for disease - they are contributing factors, not THE CAUSE.

Far more important are unresolved emotions/stressors. My mother certainly had her share which played a major factor in her body breaking down. Many of you reading this believe you don't have that much stress or unresolved issues that could be the cause of your present health problems, or worse illnesses later on. The truth is EVERYONE does. In fact, many people that have an EFT session with me to heal a physical health or life issue believe at first that there is no real connection to an unresolved event, hurt, or negative pattern of thinking. Yet, it ALWAYS turns out differently.

In other words, the majority of the time a person is experiencing a physical health problem or life issue, there is also an unresolved emotional and mind issue blocking their energy and affecting behavior. These are hidden, which is why they are blocks and people are unaware of them and therefore think they don't exist.

There is ample scientific and medical evidence to support what I am saying. If you are suffering from any on-going physical health or life problem, you best look into emotional-mind/energy healing. Diet and supplements support health, though they should not be your only focus.

I also want to say, this work is not like traditional therapy at all. Nor does it take forever; it is short term. And unlike most therapies, it is very effective. It is a positive experience and results in a better, healthier and happier life.
