candidasis - Amanda Sutton -
my 3 month old baby has oral thrush- her cheeks are coated thick white, though her tongue is clear. I have tried homeopathy with no success, she is having baby acidophilus, and her mouth is being swabbed with raspberry leaf tea, she has had several homeopathic remedies. I breastfeed so I have been using calendula gel, i also avoid wheat + sugar. i am a vegan. i don't want allopathic medicine really, but the trhush is spreading to her bottom lip. What can i do to help her??

If you are breast feeding your baby, you need to take colostrum and a very good probiotic formula. You can use Thera-Zyme SmI for yourself, or better Del Pro. Both you and your baby should use Colostrum-IgG , it comes in a powder, just mix it in her food or milk or water. You also need to get all sugar and junk out of your diet and take digestive enzymes that break down carbohydrates, such as Thera-Zyme Pan or Premier Digestase SP. You may need to contact a local naturopath or holistic doctor to be sure you are doing what is necessary to resolve the issue. If you are not breast feeding, in addition to the colostrum there are specific probiotic formulas for babies.

Amanda, If you also have candida a wonderful book to read is The Body Ecology Diet by Donna Gates. It is the best book I've ever read on how to overcome candida.

A one word remedy - ACIDOPHOLOUS! And use it regularily. Best first thing in the AM on an empty stomach.

I have struggled with Irritable Bowel Syndrome fro 10 yrs. I found that when I eat sugar foods (pie, cake, sweets,or even regular foods with high carb/sugars that iwill itch and feel like I'm doped, and feel very moody/irritable. I have found that "Thera-zyme, SmI T9 to L1" helps me immensely. Dr. Rich Easterling told me that it would knock out many yeast problems usually in 2 weeks. I find that if I take it the symptoms go away and I start to feel better again.

I have also been battling thrush with my now five month old since he was a month old. it has gone away and come back a couple of times. I want to be rid of it by doing either a natural remedy for both him, like a supplement, but what? What things can I do/take while breastfeeding and what should I stay away from? Is there a safe natural cleanse out there that won't have negagive effects on the baby?
