Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Irritable Bowel Syndrome - Anita - Seattle
I believe I have IBS with constipation. I've suffered for years with on and off intense abdominal pain and bloating. Whats worse is taking a few TBsp of ground flaxseed in water daily makes it worse. Fiber seems to make the pain worse. I am weak and tired during these 3-4 day bouts of severe pain that doc says is caused from "stress". I'm getting more stressed by the pain! I am currently using digestive enzymes and Hydrochloric acid to help me digest foods. Why can't I be normal?

Homeopath recommended magnesium citrate and aloe juice. Seems to helping very well. Also have to address the emotional issues that have helped create this.

To resolve Irritable Bowel issues here are my recommendations: Eliminate wheat, gluten and soy from your diet, and dairy too (in future, organic and raw dairy may be fine, and small amounts of wheat and soy, though you have to experiment on your own body. Also, try to identify other foods that you may be reacting to. Simply avoid any suspect foods for a few weeks and then try them again and pay close attention to how your body feels and reacts. Start using a digestive enzyme formula specific for your problem, the best choices are Premier Digestase-SP or Thera-Zyme Pan. Also, get on a professional probiotic like Premier Probiotic Caps or Delpro. Use Thera-Zyme IrB for a few months until symptoms subside. Stay away from fiber, flax and such irritating foods and supplements. Cut way down on sugar, junk food, fried food, fructose, excess breads and grains. You likely need magnesium, though be careful with it, too much can be irritating and cause loose stools. I dont recommend you use citrate, oxide or asparate. Rather use Premier Magnesium glycinate, Magnesium Taurate or Bio Nativus Mineral Concentrate which is magnesium chloride. I have helped many people resolve irritable bowel and digestive issues. These issues were the main issues that brought me into this work. I highly suggest you call me for a consultation. Even though I have given a lot of advice here, it is very important for us to consult because everyones situation and needs are different. There is no doubt that emotional issues and stress are often involved, this is why I am trained and very experienced in addressing these issues as well, see imaginehealing.com.
