Thyroid and Adrenal Gland

Thyroid and Adrenal Gland

Thyroid and Adrenal gland - Sara - Indiana
I have had thyroid problems for years now, but only recently figured it out. In May I had a thyroid test, and it showed I was hyper. For a couple years I was underweight, almost 6' and only 125lbs. Here is the problem= my hands and feet have always been cold, my temperature has always been on the low side of normal, and my blood pressure has always been low (atleast all of these things for as long as I can remember, and many more!) I read somewhere that adrenal gland problems have symptoms of low blood pressure and cold hands/feet. I am going to the endrocologist in a few weeks and I want to know as much as I can about this so I go to her informed. Does thyroid and adrenal glands go hand in hand? Could that be the reason why I am always cold, but hyperthyroid (they say I should be constantly hot). I want to get this all figured out before the hyperthyroidism kills my thyroid. Please help me!?!

I myself had a similar condition to yours. The adrenal and thyroid glands do go hand in hand. You need to support both, by natural means. Your thyroid gland is hypo not hyper. Though a hypo gland can for a while act hyper.

I would like to know how to care for my adrenal glands which have probably been affected by stress!

Stress, and therefore weakened adrenal glands are something many people share. I offer some excellent supplements to help you strengthen your adrenal glands and experience less stress in your body/life. Premier AdrenaVen is a great herbal supplement. Premier Adaptogen-R3 works very well with it. Premier Max B-ND is also very important, as is Vitamin C. I carry both of these in 100% natural source form, which is the only way people should be taking vitamins. See Premier Vitamin C and Premier Max B-ND. If you have signs of thyroid stress, then also consider using the herbal thyroid support Premier ThyroVen and other thyroid support found on this website. Also be sure you are taking extra magnesium, this is important with both adrenal and thyroid stress conditions, anxiety, sleeplessness, etc. Right now I offer a magnesium supplement by itself. I also offer a mineral complex that is high in magnesium from BioNativus. Also, be sure you have cut down on the stressors in your life, be they emotional or diet related, such as caffeine, alcohol, sugar, simple carbohydrates, etc. For emotional work I highly recommend: somatic therapies, Gestalt, Focusing and EFT. See my website www.imaginehealing.com.

Recently had Ultra Sound/MRI/ and Catscan of my Thryoid Gland. They found that there were leisons in the gland and referred me to a endrocologist. I just realized that is a Cancer specialst. Does this mean I have Cancer. What happens @ my appt. and what do they mean by "Proceedures"

Do you recommend that the TSH be between 1&2 for women to maintain a a normal weight and be able to lose weight? Also, I am small boned, 5'6". Should I not weight more than 135lbs.

I am currently seeing an ENT who had not done anything other then adjust my Amour Thyroid doseage. My overall CBC is slowly getting worse. I am presently taking 90 mg of Armour thyroid daily. My throat is sore and sometimes it is difficult to swallow. The ENT Wants to look at it via a nasal to throat tube. I have refused the procedure. My overall health is suffering.

Re:Thyroid and Adrenal gland - Ruth - Virginia
My dhea level is 11 and I have been on either synthroid and now Armour Thyroid. My temp is 98. I feel the thyroid supplement is not helping. I wonder if dhea would help both glands. I know that stress probably didn't help my adrenals.
