If the weather is extra warm where you live, there is no need to worry about Progest E Oil being affected by the heat during the shipping process. Progest E is very stable. Upon receipt, though it is not required, it is recommended to refrigerate the Progest E for the very best storage conditions, which will preserve its shelf life of 2 years. It is important to store Progest E out of direct light, which prevents product degradation.
The resin used to make the bottle does not contain—BPAs, phthalates—or any other toxic chemicals listed for example under Proposition 65 in California or any other international toxics regulatory body.
If the bottle is too cold the drops won't be easy to measure, so estimate (it is unnecessary to be exact, use as needed), or let it warm up outside the refrigerator for 30 min or so (see more information in instructions). It is only necessary to refrigerate in hot or long term storage conditions.
Get an idea of your desired amount when the liquid is at room temperature. Then when it is cold estimate that similar amount.

An unpopped kernel of popcorn looks the same size as a 60 mg drop of Progest-E and can be used as a reference. There are approximately 560 drops weighing 60 mg in each 34 ml bottle. Dispensing and Storage Tips:
Prolonged exposure to higher temperatures and natural light is known to reduce the shelf life of natural vitamin E. To get the greatest benefit from the natural vitamin E in Progest-E, keep the product refrigerated (does not have to be), or in a cool dark place.
Natural vitamin E is more viscous when cold. To facilitate dispensing drops when you are down towards the end of the bottle, use the following procedure: With the cap on, put your bottle of Progest-E upside down in a a juice glass in the fridge. Remove the glass containing the bottle of Progest-E Oil Complex from the fridge approximately 20-30 minutes before use. This allows the solution to get to room temperature and makes dispensing drops easier. Storing the bottle upside down also ensures that the solution is always in the dropper tip ready for use. Note: Do not store upside down when the bottle is full because the liquid will dispense too quickly. Store right side up until it becomes difficult to squeeze out liquid from the bottle.

Never fear, relief is HERE!
Ok, I have been using this for almost 3 years now. I started off just w 3 drops a day, and it still helped w my hot flashes and depression! Now I'm basically @ 5 drops a day, unless more is needed. The reason I'm writing this review today is to tell ANYONE who has been using Dr Peats and you start getting all those nasties back- hot flashes, night sweats, irritability- BUY A NEW BOTTLE!!! I have never gone thru a whole bottle. A bottle usually lasts me 4-6 months then I need a new one. As soon as I get my new bottle I have INSTANT relief. Works like a charm all over again. So, if your feeling those flashes and start getting irritable for no reason, see how long you've had your bottle and replace it. It's still less expensive and more successful than any other product for me, even If I only get 4 mos out of a bottle! (I live in Phoenix, AZ. I'm sure that is why its potency goes down even that quick for me.) Also, write the date you get it on your bottle. I'm surprised they don't have an expiration date on them already. (Or use by...) REGARDLESS, THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING PRODUCT EVER!!! LNH Response: It is best to keep refrigerated. Then it will stay potent for over a year.

UNBELIEVABLE!
This works like a charm! I can put a blanket over me! Anyone who has hot flashes as bad as me will understand that when you are burning up from your core radiating out so no air movement is felt or enough but after 2 weeks of this oil, I’m so happy and relieved! No hot flash as touched me in over a month now! I even get chills guys! CHILLS!

After 10 years of using a progesterone creme I am now hitting the perimenopause with all its uglies... Amazing Results
