If the weather is hot where you live, there is no need to worry about Progest E being affected by the heat during the shipping process. Progest E is very stable. Upon receipt, though it is not required, it is recommended to refrigerate the Progest E for the very best storage conditions, which will preserve its shelf life of 2 years. It is important to store Progest E out of direct light, which prevents product degradation.
The resin used to make the bottle does not contain—BPAs, phthalates—or any other toxic chemicals listed for example under Proposition 65 in California or any other international toxics regulatory body.
If the bottle is too cold the drops won't be easy to measure, so estimate (it is unnecessary to be exact, use as needed), or let it warm up outside the refrigerator for 30 min or so (see more information in instructions). It is only necessary to refrigerate in hot or long term storage conditions.
Get an idea of your desired amount when the liquid is at room temperature. Then when it is cold estimate that similar amount.

An unpopped kernel of popcorn looks the same size as a 60 mg drop of Progest-E and can be used as a reference for people who don’t have a scale for weighing small drops. There are approximately 560 drops weighing 60 mg in each 34 ml bottle. It is not necessary to be exact using this product. Use as needed.

What about the Soy in Progest E?
The vitamin E in the Progest-E Complex is derived from NON-GMO soy. The vitamin E used in Progest-E is of the highest quality and purification level and it does not contain soybean oil or soy proteins. People with soy allergies should have no problem with this product. There are several undesirable substances found in whole soybeans, but they are all eliminated during the extraction of vitamin E.

Balance & Stability

Best progesterone out there
I have used at least ten different progesterone products. Dr Peat's Protest-E works. Most creams have some combination of paragons, phenoxyethanol, titanium dioxide, etc. This works, it's potent. The only downside is that it is sticky due to the vitamin E, but I will take sticky over heart palpations any day. (FYI, the prescription bio-identical progesterone Prometrium has titanium dioxide in it, it made me very sick.)

After many years of suffering from extreme and constant hot flashes, I found relief by using Dr. Peat's Progest-E
Beginning at age 43, I started having constant hot flashes that grew more severe. About ten years later, I discovered a progesterone gel that helped but it was messy and inconvenient. Then the creams came out and they were easier to use. My daughter introduced me to the Progest-E, and I have been using it for about 8 years now. The hot flashes have not completely subsided, but they are much easier to manage.

This is by far the best progesterone product in the market. I have used it for years and every time that I try something else there is no comparison. Dr. Peat is a gifted and generous practitioner and he should be supported. The price is more than fair.

I have been taking Dr. Ray Peat's Progest E for several years and it has tremendously helped. Couldn't be without it.

arrived warm
Paid for overnight shipping and it was warm, small and I mean small ice pack was even warm, what does this mean for the potency? LNH Response: It is actually fine for the product to be warm, it does not affect potency. PGE can be kept out of refrigeration for days at a time without any issue. It is not good for it to be at very high temperatures or directly in the sun for long periods. For long term storage, it is best to be kept refrigerated so it stays potent for up to 2 years.

Effective
Am extremely happy to have found this form of Progesterone. I use one drop, so far I use it frequently, multiple times a day. And sometimes I find I just use it as needed (it helps when I experience hot flashing). Sometimes its great to take before bed to relax a little. (I use other supps as well as I'm battling some out of whack hormones). I also use it (mixed in a little Coconut Oil) on my face. I'm confident that its a very good product with integrity.
