This test is covered for a flat rate of $179 by some PPO insurance plans if you have met your deductible and have out of network coverage for lab tests.  Please call our office at 303-845-1827 to use insurance billing. Note that if you are using insurance for any Sanesco test, a consultation is not included. If you are interested in reviewing your results with our Naturopathic Practitioner, you may add on a consultation for an additional fee.

**If this is your first test with Sanesco, we highly suggest ordering the HPA-G Complete Profile instead, as it includes all the hormones and PEA (a promising biomarker in both the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD).**

This test is done easily at home and then mailed directly to the lab. The results will be sent back to us and then mailed to you. When you receive the results, call us to request your free 15 minute consultation (full paying clients only, see insurance pay above). Our Naturopathic Practitioner will review your results and answer your questions.  If you are an international client, please contact us prior to ordering this test. Different shipping rates apply for international orders.

Sanesco HPA Profile (Hypothalamus/Pituitary/Adrenal) provides measurement of 6 primary urinary neurotransmitters: Serotonin, GABA, Glutamate, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Epinephrine. Salivary Adrenal Hormones are also measured: 4 timed Cortisols and 2 DHEAs.

Key Benefits:

  • Determine imbalances in neurotransmitters to resolve issues with anxiety, sleep, depression, weight gain, sugar cravings, mood, fatigue, decreased libido and more.

Additional Information:

  • This profile assesses the six neurotransmitters that affect the hypothalamic-pituitary axis (HP) as well as the adrenal hormones cortisol and DHEA. Since the HPA axis initiates an adrenal response, this profile allows the practitioner to assess that response and make therapeutic decisions based on the information. Neurotransmitters are measured from a single urine sample, while cortisol (X4) and DHEA (X2) are measured from four saliva samples.

I am very happy to have had this test done on my son. It surely shows the imbalance he has and correlates with the symptoms he is currently experiencing. He starts on the recommended treatment tomorrow and I really look forward to these products working in order to improve his health and well-being.
