Is Progest-E micronized? The particle size definitely makes a difference—the smaller the better! Tests have shown micronized progesterone to have significantly higher absorption than standard milled progesterone. In the US the standard milled has an average particle size of approximately 45 microns, micronized progesterone is less than 15 microns. However, for progesterone containing products, it is the formula and its inherent stability (or lack of it) which will determine the benefits available to users of the product. Due to its unique formulation, Progest-E has a functional progesterone particle size over a thousand times smaller than micronized progesterone, in a biologically pure and highly stable formula.
"Thanks to Premier Pregnenolone, Pure Encapsulations Astaxanthin, Progest-E and vitamin D, my skin is not thick like usual, it has thinned out and is very peachy, very clear. I have never had skin like this!" -J.S., Florida

Dr. Peat's Progest E Complex contains the following:
- Supplement Facts: Serving Size 3 drops, Servings per Container about 300
- Natural d-alpha tocopherol &/or mixed tocopherols (vitamin E) 4-22 mg per drop; 12-66 mg per serving
- Natural progesterone derived from wild yam 3 mg per drop; 9 mg per serving
- Other Ingredients: Vegetable triglycerides (plant-based, sourced from either olive or coconut)
**The vitamin E in the Progest-E Complex is derived from soy, yet many people with soy allergies have no problem with Progest-E because for most people the allergic reaction is a response to soy proteins. There are no proteins in the oily fractions of the plant (such as vitamin E), which is a highly purified distillate. If you have a soy allergy, it is best to first test on a small area of the skin (ex: ankle).
**The Vitamin E is derived from NON-GMO soy.
**The progesterone in Dr. Peat`s Progest-E Complex is USP.
We send out detailed instructions with the product (see below). Normally, the body produces 10 to 20 milligrams of progesterone per day on its own. Though many factors can cause low levels. A quantity of 3 or 4 drops usually brings the blood levels up to the normal range, but this dose can be repeated several times during the day if needed. For general purposes, it is effective to take progesterone dissolved in vitamin E orally into the mouth, or by rubbing it into the gums. The Progest E Oil can be applied directly to the skin, for skin issues or beauty, and can be helpful for areas affected by sun, and conditions such as physical pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, tendinitis, bursitis, varicose veins, etc. It can also be used for vaginal dryness. To speed up assimilation and to make application easier when applied externally, add a few drops of olive oil or coconut oil to the area then rub Progest-E Oil Complex into and around the affected area.
It is best to keep this product refrigerated to keep fresh. Though, it is perfectly fine to have it outside at room temperature for hours or can be stored up to a year if kept in the dark between 60 - 65 degrees Just keep away from extreme heat, sunshine, or direct light.

I received my bottles in good condition, it does seem that they store the oil well and keep a fresh supply. This oil has been a huge part of the healing process for me post-concussion.
Product as I intended

I really like this product. I swear it reduces my PMS symptoms like mood swings, acne and reduces the amount of trouble I have sleeping during certain times in my cycle. Also, when my cortisol levels feel like they're high, I'll up my dosage a bit, and I it really seems to help. I will buy it again once I run out.

Have been using this product for many years. I began taking it just when I started to develop an occasional hot flash. After I started taking it, never had any symptoms whatsoever. I'm very grateful to Dr. Peat whose genius, compassion, and generosity have helped so many. I'm also grateful to Long Natural Health to make this product available to all.
Not sure what happened

The product made me very agitated and i wasn’t able to sleep. I had hot flashes and my legs were shaking. I really wanted to like the product as I know it is great quality. I would like to know what went wrong. I took 10 drops as my Dr recommend. Do you think I should try it on my skin?
LNH Response: This is an unusual and rare response. In 20 years I have never heard this. You should be working with your doctor to resolve it. One thing you should find out is your estrogen and progesterone levels. You should also have a test done to see if you are allergic to this product, which is possible but very rare.
I have only been on this product for 2 weeks so far

I have an estrogen dominant condition. An ultrasound confirmed that the endometrial lining of my uterus was more than 3 times as thick as is normal for a 60 yr old woman who is 9 yrs post menopausal. I have had some period like symptoms for the past year and a discharge for the last few months. I was very concerned and my doctor and a naturopath were quite unhelpful. that is to say that my doctor had no knowledge it seems of estrogen dominant conditions. Now she wants me to have a hysteroscopy but I don't want to go down the Western medicine track. So thanks to reading Elaine Hollingsworth's book I found out about Dr Peat's progesterone and I've dropped many phytoestrogen foods as well as grains. The progesterone brought some immediate improvement in symptoms and dropping grains brought further improvement. It takes a leap of faith when you think you could have early stage cancer and I have no-one to guide me but I'm going to trust the lack of symptoms and am very thankful for the progesterone which I think is probably saving my life. But you have to correct your diet as well. I was taking a teaspoon a day of turmeric which could have helped cause the condition? Was also using a face cream which I realised had a lot of soybean oil in it. I also ate sunflower seeds which I didn't realise was a phytoestrogen as well as flax seeds but now I'm reading that some phytoestrogen actually take out excess estrogen from the body. It's very confusing and I would appreciate any advice. Thankyou Dr Peat.
I have been on this for 13 Years and wouldn't be without it.

All i can say it helped my hypothyroid, dryness, skin and body proportions came into line. Also sleep quality and weightloss. Need I say more.
I do recommend you speak to your naturalpath for advice as to whether this is good for you and how to use it is critical.
